About the Role:

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing maintenance, repair, and installation services on medical refrigeration equipment across the Midlands region, with occasional travel nationwide. The ideal candidate will have experience working with liquid nitrogen and will be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing routine and emergency maintenance on medical refrigeration equipment
  • Installing new equipment and commissioning it for use
  • Providing technical support to customers over the phone or in person
  • Conducting site surveys and preparing reports
  • Maintaining accurate service records and providing reports to management
  • Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Experience working within laboratory environments
  • Previous experience in a field service role
  • Knowledge of medical refrigeration equipment and systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full driving license
