Field Service Engineer - Compressed Air

My client has an immediate requirement for a Field Service Engineer to join their team, covering Exeter and surrounding areas. The successful Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing service and support to customers across their region, working on a wide range of compressed air equipment and associated systems.

This is a home-based field service role and will involve attending customer sites to carry out planned servicing, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs, as well as responding to breakdowns and completing installation and commissioning work.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established engineering business who provide specialist compressed air services to customers across a range of industries throughout the UK.

Field Service Engineer Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 – Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience of carrying out equipment service, maintenance, repairs, and installations.
  • Ideally have previous experience of compressed air systems.
  • Capable of carrying out electrical fault finding, including PLCs.
  • Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Must hold Security Clearance.
  • Must have own toolkit (specialist tools provided)
  • Must be flexible to travel including occasional overnights and on call rota.
  • Hold full UK driving licence.
