Job type: Full time, permanent
Location: Oxfordshire (field based)
Salary: £40k - £45k p/a
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend customer sites to install, service, maintain, and repair vending machines, coffee machines, and other associated appliances.
- Carry out electrical and mechanical fault-finding to identify faults and determine the appropriate repair.
- Diagnose issues with vending and coffee machines, including electrical, mechanical, electronic, and component-related faults.
- Repair, replace, and test components where required.
- Carry out installation, commissioning, testing, and servicing of equipment at customer sites.
- Respond to breakdowns and service calls, working efficiently to minimise equipment downtime.
- Use technical knowledge and practical engineering skills to investigate and resolve faults.
- Complete accurate service reports, job sheets, and maintenance records.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers while providing professional on-site support.
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- A practical, hands-on engineering background with experience of fault-finding, maintenance, servicing, or repairs.
- Experience working with vending machines, coffee machines, catering equipment, electrical appliances, or similar machinery is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience using hand tools and basic test equipment.
- Ability to understand technical information, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Strong practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good customer service and communication skills, with the confidence to work directly with customers.
- Full UK driving licence required.
