Field Technician

Field Technician - £43,300 + overtime – Doncaster – Monday to Friday

The job:

An interesting opportunity for a Field Technician to join the Doncaster team of an established and growing company who will develop your existing skillset by investing in your training and future development in order to progress you to the next level and fulfil your potential.

The role involves visiting processing sites throughout the UK, maintaining various systems and equipment, ensuring the company is informed of any issues that may arise in a timely manner.

Involvement in the installations of these sites which include abattoirs and can be UK wide so the occasional stop over is required.

Dismantling components and equipment and assembling mechanical components.

Diagnose faults on the equipment used.

Requirements:

To apply for the field technician position, you must hold a full UK Driving Licence and previous mechanical / engineering experience within a continuous process / manufacturing environment.

Experience and knowledge of TIG welding and diaphragm pumps is also essential.

Have a high regard for safety, quality and compliance.

Salary and benefits for the field technician:  

Basic salary: £43,300

Overtime: Paid at x1.5

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Travel: Some overnight stays required

Vehicle: Company van provided, with business fuel paid

Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays

Pension: Company contributions from 7% up to 10%
