Finance Analyst

We're recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a well-established organisation in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience beyond day-to-day transactional finance while continuing their professional studies.

As Finance Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance function, ensuring the accurate processing of financial transactions while providing valuable financial information to stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Posting petty cash and reconciling control accounts.
• Issuing expenditure reports.
• Dealing with bank payments and cards.
• Liaising with budget holders to provide insight and information.
• Bank account reconcilation. 
• Supporting the wider finance team with transactional and analytical finance activities.
• Assisting with continuous improvements to finance processes and controls.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Experience within a transactional finance role, such as Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Confidence working with financial systems and Excel.
• A proactive approach and a genuine desire to learn and develop.
• Ideally, you'll be studying AAT or be looking to progress onto CIMA or ACCA.
