Finance Analyst

We are working with a well-established, global organisation to recruit a Finance Analyst to join their growing finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded individual who enjoys working with data, supporting decision-making, and partnering with stakeholders across the business.

You will play a key role in delivering financial analysis, supporting forecasting processes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial reporting and controls.

• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term planning
• Provide detailed analysis of financial performance, including costs and revenue trends
• Produce variance analysis comparing actuals to budget/forecast
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and financial models
• Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting processes
• Prepare journals and support balance sheet reconciliations
• Contribute to cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
• Analyse historical data to identify trends and provide insights to stakeholders
• Build strong working relationships with both finance and non-finance teams
• Support audit processes and respond to internal/external queries
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

• Experience in a finance analyst or similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to improving processes
• Part-qualified or studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
