As a Finance Assistant in Dunfermline, you'll be responsible for keeping financial operations running smoothly in the life science industry. You'll focus on tasks like processing invoices and managing accounts, which are essential to the accounting and finance department.

Description

• Process and manage invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and update financial records in line with company policies.
• Assist with reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in accounts.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
• Handle queries related to accounts and payments professionally.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end financial activities.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

• Experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
• Familiarity with financial systems, ideally with MS Dynamics and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.

Job Offer

• Hourly pay of £14.00 to £17.00, dependent on the level of experience.
• Temporary contract based in Dunfermline.
