Finance Assistant

As Finance Assistant you'll be responsible for:

• Managing the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Supporting credit control activities, monitoring outstanding debt and liaising with clients to ensure prompt payment.

• Assisting with day-to-day finance administration, including reconciliations, payment runs, and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Processing employee expenses and supporting month-end finance activities.

• Maintaining supplier and customer accounts, resolving invoice queries, and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Supporting the onboarding of new starters, including setting up finance records and coordinating payroll and system administration.

• Maintaining finance systems and ensuring data remains accurate, compliant, and up to date.

• Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes and providing administrative support to the wider Finance Team.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
  • Strong digital skills, including Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
