PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for providing support to the Accounts Payable team with day-to-day activities to a competent standard and ensuring the Company's financial transactions are recorded accurately.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

The primary responsibilities are detailed below, however KSD Support Services Ltd may require additional responsibilities to be absorbed within reason from time to time to meet business demands.

  • Receive, check, and process purchase invoices;
  • Ensure all invoices are correctly coded and authorised before being processed in line with Company procedures;
  • Batching high volumes of invoices and posting them into SAGE200;
  • Answering and dealing with telephone queries
  • Manage and resolve external supplier and sub-contractor queries / monthly reconciliation of supplier and sub-contractor statements;
  • Maintaining an accurate purchase ledger in line with company approval levels;
  • Setting up of new supplier and sub-contractor accounts and maintaining existing account details;
  • Processing credit card purchases for the Company and keeping digital receipts;
  • Filing invoices and statements digitally
  • Assistance in other areas of our Administration Department as and when required;
  • Responsible for ensuring all tasks are undertaken in a timely manner;
  • Always comply with the Company’s Policies and Procedures;
  • Execute the responsibilities of the job role according to lawful and ethical standards.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • Excellence attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in a high volume, transaction driven environment;
  • Knowledge of SAGE200 or Similar Accounting programme
  • Proficient in the use of IT platforms, Outlook, Word, Excel;
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads;
  • Good working knowledge of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).

Working Hours:

  • Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm

  • Patcham Place, Patcham, London Road, Brighton, BN1 8YD
