Finance & Business Operations Manager in Witney

Our client is seeking an experienced, commercially minded Finance & Business Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the finance department and take ownership of key financial and business support functions, including HR & supplier contract management.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for financial reporting, cash flow, budgeting, expenditure and stock control, alongside leading the HR function and managing key supplier contracts.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong financial expertise with commercial awareness, sound judgement and the ability to drive business performance.

You will have:

• At least five years' experience in a similar finance management role.
• A relevant accountancy qualification, degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience in management accounts, budgeting, cash flow and financial control.
• Experience overseeing payroll, VAT and statutory reporting.
• Senior-level HR experience, including recruitment, employee relations and employment law.
• Experience managing supplier contracts and negotiating commercial terms.
• Strong Excel skills and experience using Sage 50.
• Excellent communication, organisational and people management skills.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
