Finance Business Partner

Eleanor Banks Recruitment is partnering with a growing and commercially focused organisation in Wakefield to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight and influencing key business decisions. You will act as a trusted finance partner across multiple business functions, helping drive performance, profitability and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and challenge.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver detailed variance analysis and commercial recommendations.
• Develop financial models to support strategic business decisions.
• Produce KPI dashboards and board-level reporting.
• Support investment appraisals and business cases.
• Drive continuous improvements across finance processes and reporting.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified.
• Previous experience as a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence decision-making at senior management level.
