We are delighted to be supporting a growing education organisation as they seek to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join their team. Within this role you will report into the Financial Controller. You will play a pivotal role in the team liaising on a number of financial duties, and the role operates a hybrid working policy with up to 2 days a week working from home permitted.
As the incoming Finance Business Partner, you will be tasked with the following duties:
- Producing monthly management accounts, forecasts and financial reports
- Leading annual budget setting and long-term financial planning.
- Providing financial advice and business partnering support to internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements and procurement procedures
- Additional ad hoc duties as required
As the successful applicant, you will have at least two years' experience in a similar finance role, experience with month end duties, strong Excel skills and a solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping. You will hold an AAT Level 3 qualification or have equivalent experience, alongside excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience within education, payroll knowledge or Sage experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
