Finance Business Partner

RECfinancial are partnering with a successful, growing and highly ambitious business in the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation that forms part of a larger international group and continues to invest in both its operations and finance function. The role is ideally suited to candidates based in Leicester, Peterborough, Corby, Melton Mowbray, South Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

Whilst the production and review of management accounts will form part of the role, this is not a traditional month-end focused position, with a significant proportion of your time spent supporting the wider business commercially looking at where you can add value and supporting with strategic decision making at board level. 

The majority of your time will be spent understanding the numbers behind the accounts, delivering meaningful margin and profitability analysis, identifying opportunities to add value, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, producing board-level reporting and helping operational stakeholders make better commercial decisions through high-quality financial insight. You will also work closely with the leadership team to manage cash flow, working capital and operational performance, whilst managing and developing one direct report.

Suitable candidates may currently be working as a Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager, Commercial Accountant or Senior Management Accountant and will possess strong Excel skills. 

Candidates studying towards, or qualified in, CIMA, ACCA or ACA will be considered, alongside driven qualified-by-experience professionals who are looking to develop within a commercially focused leadership role.

The business offers a profit share scheme, 5% employer pension contribution, Death in Service (4x salary), 28 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service, on-site parking and the opportunity to become an integral part of an ambitious leadership team within an international organisation.

The role has a salary range of between £55,000 and £65,000, depending on experience.
