T2P Recruitment is recruiting for a Finance Clerk / Trainee Finance Assistant to join an established and supportive Finance team based in Kenilworth.

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin and develop a long-term career within finance and accounts.

Previous finance experience is not essential. Our client is much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.

You may be a school or college leaver looking for your first career opportunity, or perhaps already working in an administration or customer service role and looking to move into finance.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced Finance team, you will receive training and gain exposure across a variety of finance and accounts activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing, coding and posting purchase invoices

• Allocating costs accurately to the general ledger

• Investigating invoice queries and discrepancies

• Processing supplier payments

• Completing supplier statement reconciliations

• Bank reconciliations

• Managing payments into accounts receivable ledgers

• Answering incoming telephone calls

• Managing shared mailbox activity and correspondence

• General finance and administrative duties

As your knowledge and experience develop, you will also have the opportunity to become involved in month-end processes, management and compliance reporting, KPI reporting and wider Finance projects.
