Your new role
Reportingdirectly to the Chief Financial Officer.The Finance Director will take overallresponsibility for the operational management of the organisation's finances,ensuring continued financial health, compliance, commercial performance andsustainable growth. You will lead the finance function and play a key rolewithin the senior leadership team, providing strategic financial insight tosupport business decision-making and future development.
Therole encompasses leadership of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and financial reporting, ensuring the delivery of accurate andtimely management information. You will present financial performance andstrategic insights to senior stakeholders, lead relationships with auditors andadvisors, and maintain robust governance, compliance and risk managementprocesses across the organisation.
Asignificant aspect of the position will involve the development ofsophisticated commercial models to support pricing strategies, bids, costmanagement and long-term planning. Working closely with colleagues across thebusiness, you will help drive operational efficiency, improve reportingcapabilities and support data-led decision-making. You will also lead anddevelop a high-performing finance team, promoting a collaborative andvalues-driven culture


What you'll need to succeed
Tobe successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant holding ACCA,CIMA or an equivalent professional finance qualification, supported bydegree-level education or comparable professional experience. You will bringsignificant experience operating in a senior finance leadership capacity andpossess strong technical expertise across financial reporting, budgeting,forecasting, commercial analysis and management accounting.
Youwill have a proven ability to develop sophisticated financial models, interpretcomplex financial data and provide strategic recommendations that influencebusiness performance and growth. Strong leadership skills are essential,together with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and buildproductive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Thesuccessful candidate will be highly organised, commercially minded and capableof managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment. A commitmentto values-led leadership, team development and continuous improvement will bekey to success in the role. Experience within the energy efficiency, heating orinsulation sectors would be advantageous, although it is not essential
