Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE) Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join an established finance team in Nottingham. Reporting to the Finance Director, this newly created role will take ownership of the month-end management accounts process, financial reporting and analysis, whilst leading a small finance team. - Lead the month-end management accounts process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Review Profit & Loss accounts, balance sheets and supporting reconciliations
- Produce insightful financial reporting, analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders
- Identify financial risks and opportunities to support decision making
- Support budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes
- Lead the year-end and external audit process
- Maintain strong financial controls across the finance function
- Develop KPI reporting and financial analysis
- Manage, coach and support two direct reports
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support wider business initiatives
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role
- Experience working within a medium to large organisation
- Strong month-end and management accounting experience
- Part Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- Experience managing or mentoring finance staff
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Multi-site experience would be advantageous
- A proactive and organised approach
