Group Finance Manager

A growing, family-owned group business is seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to lead its finance function during an exciting period of growth and development.
Managing a team of four, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance operation across a multi-entity business, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and the smooth running of a high-volume transactional finance function.
This is a hands-on leadership role offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact. Alongside managing reporting, budgeting and financial controls, you'll be tasked with driving efficiencies, improving processes and procedures, and helping create a more streamlined and scalable finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 4 finance staff
- Prepare monthly management accounts and group reporting
- Oversee high-volume transactional finance activities
- Manage month-end processes, reconciliations and financial controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Drive process improvements and increased automation within finance
- Partner with operational stakeholders across the business
- Support year-end and audit requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Proven Finance Manager / Group Finance Manager experience
- Strong management accounting and reporting background
- Experience managing transactional finance teams
- Commercial, hands-on and proactive approach
- Passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced SME environment
