Finance Manager in Bath, Somerset

A fast-paced, international business in Bath is looking for a Finance Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to start ASAP.

Your new role
Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in improving the month-end process and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting. The role will include:

• Support the delivery of an accurate and efficient month-end close.
• Review existing finance processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Help drive greater automation and efficiency across management accounting.
• Act as a key problem-solver, providing accounting expertise and analysis across the team.
• Support the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Work collaboratively across finance to help develop smarter, more streamlined ways of working

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for a proven Finance Manager / Management Accountant that is immediately available or available on short notice. Ideally we are looking for:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Strong management accounting experience
• Solid experience of month-end close and financial reporting
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• A process-improvement mindset
• Ideally, experience using AI or automation tools within finance to improve efficiency and accuracy
