We are currently supporting a well-established and growing organisation based in London with the appointment of a Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to take ownership of a broad finance function within a commercially focused business.
The Role
Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and effective cash management.
You will play a key role in supporting the wider business with financial insight and helping to drive improvements across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day finance function, including AP, AR and general ledger
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Monitor cash flow, budgets and forecasts
- Prepare financial analysis and provide commercial insight to senior stakeholders
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with statutory accounts and audit requirements
- Review and improve existing finance processes and systems
- Manage and develop junior members of the finance team
- Work closely with non-finance stakeholders across the business
You will ideally have:
- Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA status, or equivalent experience
- Strong experience within a Finance Manager or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of management accounts and month-end processes
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Strong Excel skills and good experience working with finance systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The confidence to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
- £55,000–£65,000 salary
