Finance Manager - Transactions (£62,911 per annum, full-time)

West Kent is looking for an ambitious and driven Finance Manager to lead our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable (Income and Cash) teams, ensuring excellent financial control, outstanding customer service and continuous improvement.
This is a high-profile leadership role where you'll combine technical expertise with people leadership, helping shape the future of our finance function while supporting the delivery of homes and services that make a real difference to our communities.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop high-performing AP, AR (Income and Cash) teams.
- Drive efficient, accurate and compliant transaction processing.
- Own key reconciliations, month-end close activities and cash management processes.
- Deliver process improvements, automation and value for money initiatives.
- Develop meaningful KPIs and performance reporting.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, auditors, customers and suppliers.
About you
- CCAB qualified accountant.
- Experienced in leading transactional finance teams.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, reconciliations and VAT.
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience.
- A natural leader who enjoys improving processes and developing people.

Location
The role will be based in our Sevenoaks office, We offer a flexible approach to hybrid working, with employees attending the office twice a week.
