In this role, you will:

  • Prepare accounting journals and reconciliations
  • Complete allocated balance sheet reconciliations on a timely basis including investigation and resolution of any queries.
  • Prepare group reporting submissions including projections and market plan.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial information for internal and external reporting.
  • Generate and assist with various tax returns within the required deadlines.
  • Assist the Finance department with the year-end audit process and preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Assist in the development and continual improvement of internal controls and best practice in the finance area, along with supporting digitalisation and data innovation.
  • Undertake ad-hoc analysis work as required.

 

About you:

  • Qualification: Fully qualified or nearing completion of ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Proactive and self-motivated: Able to take initiative, manage a high workload, and effectively prioritise tasks both independently and within a team setting.
  • Deadline-driven: Comfortable working under pressure to meet tight business deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Highly organised: Skilled at planning and organising tasks to ensure work is completed efficiently and within agreed timeframes.
  • Attention to detail – operating with exceptional attention to detail in all you do.

 

Other requirements:

  • Knowledge of HFM – Hyperion Financial Management - Essential
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint – Essential
  • Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics – Cognos TM1
