Financial Administrator
Location: Kingsley, Hampshire
Salary:£30,000 - £35,000, dependent on experience
Job Type:Full-time, office-based
An established independent financial adviser firm based in Kingsley is looking for an experienced Financial Administrator to join its friendly and supportive team.
This is a great opportunity for a capable Financial Administrator with previous experience in financial services, wealth management, or an IFA environment. The role would suit someone who is highly organised, accurate, confident dealing with financial administration, and comfortable working in a professional office-based setting.
As a Financial Administrator, you will provide essential support to a team of financial advisers, helping with day-to-day client administration, new business processing, provider liaison and case progression. This is a varied and fast-paced role where attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities will be important.
The successful Financial Administrator will be involved in processing new business applications across pensions, investments, mortgages and protection products. You will maintain accurate client records, update workflows and client data using Intelligent Office, and liaise with providers including Fidelity, Aviva and Quilter.
You will also prepare client review packs and documentation, support fund switches, rebalancing and risk profiling administration, process contributions and withdrawals, assist with fee calculations, and monitor cases through to completion. The role will involve handling client and provider queries professionally and ensuring work is completed in line with company procedures and FCA requirements.
Applicants should have previous experience within a financial adviser, IFA, or wealth management firm. Working knowledge of Intelligent Office, IO, would be highly beneficial, along with experience using provider platforms such as Fidelity, Aviva and Quilter.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, confident written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good Microsoft Office skills are also required.
In return, the company offers a friendly and supportive working environment, the chance to work within an experienced financial services team, ongoing training and development, and a stable, long-term career opportunity.
If you are an experienced Financial Administrator looking for a long-term office-based role within financial services, this could be the right next move.
