Preparation of quarterly management accounts for presentation to the Board of Directors.
Annual financial statements for the presentation to the external accountants, liaise with accountants to ensure statutory accounts are produced to required deadlines.
Manage the cash resources of the company by updating the cash flow report on a daily basis.
Oversee the preparation of payroll, ensuring payments are made to employees and HMRC on time.
Oversee posting of the sales ledger to ensure the accuracy of the transactions.
Oversee the posting of purchase ledger to ensure the accuracy of the transactions.
Maintain schedules of the fixed assets of the company and audit on a regular basis.
Ensure the accuracy of the company's inventory records by performing regular stock checks.
Develop and produce costing reports.
Ensure annual insurances are in place at the best value.
Develop relationships with external contacts such as customers and suppliers.
Ad hoc reporting as required.
