The Role: I am recruiting an experienced, remote Financial Planning Administrator (Financial Planning Assistant/ Adviser Support) on behalf of Pyrford Financial Planning, a small and ambitious Accredited, Chartered and Certified, independent Financial Planning firm.

The Opportunity: This is a fully remote role, supporting two highly experienced Financial Planners who are also the Directors of the business.  As a key member of a small team, you will be an integral part of the business and enjoy a varied role with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career Administrator to work remotely and still be closely involved in the full financial planning process and the client experience. You will also have the opportunity to support with business operations, defining and developing new processes and systems, which will shape the client experience and the operation as it grows, and make a valued contribution to the on-going success of the business.

The Person: The successful Financial Planning Administrator (Financial Planning Assistant/ Adviser Support) will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a highly involved, varied and responsible support role, in a financial planning, financial advice or wealth management environment. You will be an excellent task manager and administrator, proactive, highly organised and detail orientated, capable of coordinating tasks and prioritising accordingly.  You will also be a strong relationship builder who develops trusted relationships with key stakeholders (Directors, clients and providers) and is motivated by delivering a client experience of the highest standard. You will be confident working independently but also be a strong team player, excited by the contribution you can make to a progressive and expanding business.

Salary and Benefits:  We want the person we recruit to love this job and everything about it, so the benefits offered will be tailored to your requirements and will include £35,000-£45,000 basic salary (dependant on experience) + 100% remote working + a benefits package, tailored around what matters to you most (including potentially flexible/reduced working hours, a generous holiday and pension entitlement, continued professional development etc.).

The Company:  Pyrford Financial Planning, are a small, ambitious and progressive Accredited Independent Financial Planning firm. They are Retirement Planning Specialists, who work with HNW clients who are in or approaching retirement, helping them to prepare for this key life transition. The firm was established 3 years ago by the two Co-Founders, who between them have decades of financial services experience and who are both Chartered and Certified Financial Planners and are leading the way in lifestyle financial planning.

Financial Planning Administrator (Financial Planning Assistant/ Adviser Support), Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Directors/Financial Planners, working with them to deliver an exceptional financial planning service to their clients, to a consistently high standard.
  • Collate notes arising from client meetings, taking responsibility for processing and progressing the action points and tasks arising.
  • Liaise with clients via email, phone and on-line to establish strong relationships and ensure a smooth, compliant and client centric process.
  • Arrange and prepare for client meetings, liaise with product providers and other third parties as necessary, obtaining policy information and updating records, complete platform checks, process new and existing business and effectively onboard new clients.
  • Task management of multiple tasks and priorities, working to frequently tight and changing deadlines and ensuring work is produced and delivered within agreed timescales to a quality of the highest standard.
  • Help to establish and document processes and systems to provide best in class client experience.
  • Operational projects and general administration as required to support the business, ensuring all business is conducted in a responsible and compliant manner.

Financial Planning Administrator (Financial Planning Assistant/ Adviser Support), Skills and Experience:

  • 3 years+ administrative/customer service experience gained working in an involved support role in a financial planning, financial advice or wealth management environment.
  • An excellent task manager with experience of remote working; proactive, analytical, highly organised, quality focused and detail orientated, capable of coordinating tasks and prioritising accordingly.
  • A strong relationship builder, with a caring and client centric approach, who takes pride in providing a service of the highest standard.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An aptitude for technology and embracing of emerging technologies.
  • Intelligent, adaptable to change, enthusiastic and proactive, with a proven record of taking responsibility and self-motivation.
