Financial Reporting Manager (Remote)
LTS Resourcing
Our client is a rapidly growing UK-headquartered B2B SaaS business with an international footprint looking to hire a Financial Reporting Manager to join their lean, high-performing finance team. Remote role.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on individual contributor role with ownership across cash flow, working capital, revenue recognition, and key management and lender reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys operating autonomously, taking ownership, and working within a fast-paced technology environment where automation and AI are increasingly embedded into finance processes.
Key responsibilities as the Financial Reporting Manager will include:
- Producing and owning the rolling 13-week cash flow forecast and weekly liquidity reporting.
- Managing working capital, aged receivables, and collections to protect cash and minimise DSO.
- Escalating and resolving overdue items, particularly those beyond 60 days.
- Owning deferred income and revenue recognition, including reconciliation to CRM data, SaaS metrics, and month-end KPIs.
- Maintaining the share capital and deferred income areas of the balance sheet, ensuring a clear audit trail.
- Preparing board pack inputs and owning the monthly lender reporting pack.
- Ensuring covenant and lender reporting data is accurate and delivered on time.
- Supporting company secretarial activities, including Companies House filings, shareholder registers, and cap-table updates.
- Responding to investor information requests and escalating more complex matters where required.
- Supporting the annual audit and statutory accounts for areas within your remit.
- Continuously improving finance processes through automation and technology.
As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification, or strong qualified-by-experience credentials.
- Proven experience in 13-week cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
- Experience in revenue recognition and deferred income.
- Excellent attention to detail and the judgement to review and challenge automated outputs.
- A strong track record of meeting reporting and filing deadlines.
- The ability to work autonomously within a remote, fast-moving environment.
- Proven experience utilising AI and automation tools to improve finance processes.
