An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Services & Funds Paralegal to join a specialist legal team advising clients across the financial services and investment management sectors.

The role will focus primarily on regulated funds, providing exposure to UK authorised funds and a range of regulatory and transactional matters. You will work closely with experienced lawyers, clients and regulators, gaining valuable experience within a highly regarded financial services practice.

This role would suit a paralegal looking to develop their career within financial services, funds or regulatory law, with strong opportunities to build technical knowledge and progress towards qualification.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with all aspects of UK authorised funds, including establishment, changes, mergers and closures.
  • Supporting ongoing fund-related queries and client matters.
  • Preparing FCA applications and notification forms.
  • Reviewing and processing amendments to fund documentation, particularly distribution agreements.
  • Preparing investor circulars and related documentation.
  • Liaising with clients and the FCA.
  • Supporting fee earners with their day-to-day legal work.
  • Conducting legal and factual research where required.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Assisting with wider administrative and legal tasks across the team.


About You

  • Strong academic background, ideally with good A Level results and a minimum 2:1 degree.
  • At least one year of previous paralegal experience within a law firm, asset manager or relevant professional environment would be desirable.
  • Strong interest in financial services, funds and regulatory law.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Ability to work independently following appropriate instruction.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong commitment to producing high-quality legal work.
  • Professional and client-focused approach.
