We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Financial Services Manager to lead our Financial Services team and help drive operational excellence across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key financial services activities while developing a high-performing team, strengthening financial controls and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. You'll play a critical role in ensuring financial processes operate efficiently, risks are effectively managed and continuous improvement remains at the heart of everything we do.

• Leading and developing a high-performing team – Coach, mentor and support colleagues, building capability, encouraging collaboration and creating a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Driving operational excellence – Lead the delivery of high-quality financial services, ensuring processes are efficient, customer-focused and delivered in line with agreed service levels.
• Strengthening governance and controls – Help maintain a robust control environment through effective risk management, compliance and financial governance.
• Owning key financial processes – Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of core Financial Services activities, including month-end close processes and business-critical financial operations.
• Driving continuous improvement – Identify opportunities to simplify, improve and innovate, enhancing both customer experience and operational performance.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships – Work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, as well as auditors and external partners, to deliver excellent outcomes.
• Leading change and capability growth – Support the delivery of Finance and business change initiatives while developing the team's skills and readiness for the future.
• Making a visible impact – Monitor performance through KPIs, manage audits and operational resilience activities, and help shape the future of Financial Services.

• Professional finance expertise – Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent professional experience, with strong knowledge of financial operations, reporting and controls.
• People leadership capability – Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams, creating an inclusive environment where people can thrive.
• Operational excellence mindset – Proven experience managing end-to-end financial processes while driving efficiency, quality and continuous improvement.
• Governance and risk management expertise – Strong understanding of financial governance, internal controls, risk management and audit requirements.
• Stakeholder management skills – The ability to build trusted relationships and influence effectively across Finance, the wider business and external partners.
• Customer-focused approach – A genuine commitment to delivering excellent service and improving experiences for internal and external customers.
• Commercial and analytical strength – Strong business acumen, sound judgement and the ability to identify issues, opportunities and practical solutions.
• Change and improvement leadership – Experience implementing change, challenging silo thinking and supporting teams through new ways of working.
