FINISHING GROUNDWORKER – INNSWORTH, GLOUCESTER

Pay Rate: £21.50 per hour

ITS Building People are currently looking for an experienced Finishing Groundworker to join a busy construction site in Innsworth, Gloucester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Groundworker looking for ongoing work with a busy site team.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of finishing groundworks and external works, with a particular focus on kerbing, slabbing, topsoiling, turfing and driveway installations.

Duties

• Installing kerbs to the required levels and specifications
• Slabbing and paving
• Preparing areas for turfing
• Topsoiling and levelling ground
• Laying turf
• Installing and finishing driveways
• Carrying out general finishing groundworks
• Setting levels and ensuring accurate finishes
• Working from drawings and site specifications where required
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Working safely alongside other trades and site teams
• Keeping the work area clean and organised

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Finishing Groundworker
• Strong experience with kerbing and slabbing
• Experience with topsoiling and turfing
• Experience working on driveways and external works
• Good understanding of levels and finishes
• Relevant construction/site experience
• Full PPE
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
