About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finishing Manager to join our site management team, delivering high-quality construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects across London and the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-focused construction professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional finishes and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.

Working closely with the Contract Manager, Site Manager, subcontractors and clients, you will be responsible for overseeing the final stages of construction, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to an exceptional standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all finishing trades during the final phases of construction projects.
  • Ensure all internal and external finishes are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors to achieve programme milestones and project completion dates.
  • Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure any defects are identified and rectified promptly.
  • Manage snagging activities through to practical completion and handover.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and design teams to ensure expectations are met throughout the finishing stage.
  • Monitor progress against programme and report on completion status.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the site.
  • Support the successful handover of completed projects, including the completion of all relevant documentation.
About You:
  • Previous experience as a Finishing Manager or Site Manager within the construction industry.
  • Experience delivering high-quality refurbishment, fit-out or new-build projects.
  • Excellent eye for detail and a commitment to delivering first-class finishes.
  • Strong knowledge of finishing trades, materials and construction methods.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and maintain programme deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and quality management.
  • Good knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
Essential Qualifications:
  • SMSTS or SSSTS.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid at Work.
