I've been tasked to find a Finishing Manager for a reputable main contractor on a freelance basis. It is an immediate start and will finish in May 2028.

The project is a refurbishment of a listed building turning an existing building in a high end hotel in the west end. worth circa £30m. You will be expected to drive production, create snag lists, chase sub-contractors to complete tasks.

You'll be reporting to an on site Project Manager and work in alongside another permanently employed Site Manager.

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid at Work

Responsibilities for the Finishing Manager

• Managing all finishing works on the project, including plastering, painting, flooring, joinery, tiling, ceilings, and final fixtures.
• Planning and coordinating finishing activities to meet the overall project programme.
• Managing subcontractors and specialist trades, ensuring work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.
• Inspecting completed works and maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure works comply with the project requirements.

What is being offered
