I'm currently working with a highly regarded fire protection specialist that has built an excellent reputation for delivering quality fire alarm solutions across London and the surrounding areas.

With a strong portfolio of commercial clients and continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join their engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is looking for a stable position with strong earning potential, ongoing development and the chance to work on a variety of high quality commercial projects.

This is a field based Fire Alarm Engineer position covering London, focused on servicing, maintaining, fault finding and installing fire alarm systems across commercial environments.

You will be responsible for ensuring systems remain compliant, operational and maintained to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service on site.

• Service, maintain and install conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding.

• Diagnose faults and complete remedial works.

• Install additional devices, panels and system upgrades.

• Carry out testing, commissioning and programming where required.

• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.

• Work across a range of commercial sites including offices, residential developments, education and public sector environments.

• Provide professional support and advice to customers.

• Previous experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer.

• Strong knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.

• Experience with manufacturers such as Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Notifier, Gent, C-Tec, Fike, Apollo or similar.

• Good understanding of BS5839 standards.

• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.

• Professional customer focused approach.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• £45,000 - £48,000 Basic Salary depending on experience.
