Fire Alarm Engineer Required – Camden Council Contract
£250 Per Day | Sub-Contract | Long-Term Work

HP4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to work on a long-term council contract across Camden, London.

The role will involve attending council properties to carry out fire alarm repairs, fault finding, testing and remedial works.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fire alarm systems across residential council properties.

Duties will include:

  • Fire alarm fault finding and diagnostics
  • Repairs and remedial works
  • Testing and inspection of fire alarm systems
  • Replacing faulty components and devices
  • Investigating reported fire alarm faults
  • Carrying out planned and reactive works
  • Completing job sheets and relevant paperwork
  • Working within occupied social housing properties
  • Providing a professional service to residents and clients

Requirements

We are looking for experienced Fire Alarm Engineers with strong hands-on experience in repairs and remedial works.

You should have:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
  • Experience fault finding and repairing fire alarm systems
  • Experience working within domestic or social housing environments
  • Relevant fire alarm qualifications/training
  • Good technical knowledge of fire alarm systems
  • Own tools
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule

Experience with addressable and conventional fire alarm systems is highly desirable.
