This is a straightforward testing contract, primarily carrying out weekly fire alarm tests and completing asset registers across a portfolio of sites.
The role would suit engineers looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday subcontract work, with no requirement for complex servicing, commissioning or advanced fault finding.
The Role
- Carrying out weekly fire alarm tests
- Recording and updating fire alarm asset information
- Completing basic testing documentation
- Identifying and reporting any faults or issues
- Working across sites throughout Manchester and Liverpool
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- £230 per day
- Outside IR35

- Previous experience working with fire alarm systems
- Comfortable carrying out weekly fire alarm testing
- Basic understanding of fire alarm systems
- Able to accurately record asset information
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools and suitable transport
- Reliable and able to work independently
