We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to join a growing team covering South Wales and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in fire alarm installations, particularly on Gent systems.

The Role

• Installation, commissioning and basic fault-finding of fire alarm systems.
• Predominantly working on Gent fire alarm panels, with some Advanced panels.
• Working across a range of commercial and industrial sites throughout South Wales.
• Ensuring all work is completed to current industry standards and client requirements.
• Occasional weekend work as part of a planned rota.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the fire alarm industry.
• Proven experience installing and commissioning Gent fire alarm systems.
• Gent Basic qualification is essential.
• Strong understanding of fire alarm regulations and standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ideally based within South Wales for easy access to customer sites.

Package

• Salary of £38,000 - £40,000, depending on experience and ability.
• Standard working hours of 08:30 - 17:00, with flexibility to start and finish earlier when required.
• Travel time paid outside of the first 30 minutes each way.
• Overtime paid at:
  • Time & a half for labour Monday to Saturday.
  • Double time on Sundays.
• Company vehicle, tools and equipment provided.
