My client is one of the leading fire safety business, showing double digit growth each year since their incpetion over 8 years ago.
Due to a number of new contract wins they're recruiting an Electrical Supervisor to join a rapidly expanding Active Fire team, overseeing the delivery of fire alarm and emergency lighting projects with social housing clients across Cornwall and the UK.
Although fire saftey experience is preferred, as lkong as you have electrical supervisory experience you will be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician ready to step into a supervisory role, or an experienced supervisor looking to join a business with genuine long-term career progression.
The Role
As Electrical Supervisor, you'll be responsible for managing the successful delivery of fire alarm and emergency lighting installations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
The primary contract is based in Cornwall, however, you could also be asked to support projects across the UK. While the majority of work is expected to be in the South West, candidates must be flexible and willing to travel and stay away from home when project requirements demand.
Projects range from smaller installations, through to contracts worth up to £1 million, with responsibility for overseeing teams of up to 6–8 electricians and managing specialist subcontractors on site.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise fire alarm and emergency lighting installation projects.

Oversee subcontractors and site-based electrical teams.

Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme.

Maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Liaise with project managers, clients and site teams throughout project delivery.
What We're Looking For

Fully qualified Electrician (essential).

Experience supervising electrical installation projects or ready to step up into supervision.

Knowledge of fire alarms and/or emergency lighting is desirable, but not essential.

Experience working within social housing is advantageous, although candidates from other sectors will also be considered.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Full UK driving licence.

Flexibility to travel and stay away when required.
