Our customer is a well-established Fire & Security company delivering high-quality service across the South West. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Fire & Security Engineer to join their existing engineering team, offering long-term stability, ongoing training and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities – Multi-Skilled Fire & Security Engineer

• Diagnose faults independently and implement effective repair solutions
• Install, commission, service and maintain Fire & Security systems
• Work across fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems
• Carry out work on both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
• Carry out emergency lighting maintenance
• Work with IP-based security and communication systems
• Take part in the on-call rota
• Produce accurate service reports and documentation
• Maintain a high standard of customer service while on site

Skills and experience – Multi-Skilled Fire & Security Engineer:

• Previous experience in a Multi-Skilled Fire & Security Engineer role
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm, intruder, CCTV and access control systems
• Proven IP and networking experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience across a range of industry manufacturers and systems
• Good knowledge of relevant British Standards
• IT literate with solid administration skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must be able to satisfy relevant security vetting and DBS checks
• Desirable: FIA qualifications or experience
• Desirable: ECS/CSCS, IPAF and PASMA
