Are you an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking for your next opportunity?

We’re working with a growing and forward-thinking fire and security business that is looking for a Service & Installation Engineer to join their team across the North West.

This is a varied role covering the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of a range of fire and security systems.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Installing, commissioning and servicing Fire & Security systems
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
• Attending emergency callouts when required
• Fault finding and diagnosing system issues
• Working from drawings and job specifications
• Completing electronic job sheets and reports
• Liaising with the Helpdesk and wider engineering team
• Identifying potential upgrade opportunities
• Supporting colleagues with technical advice

About you

We’re looking for someone with:

• 2–5+ years’ experience within the Fire & Security industry
• Experience with Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of relevant BS & EN standards
• Experience with systems such as Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, Morley or similar
• Good IT and communication skills
• A professional, organised and customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
