Fire and Security Engineer in Dorset

Dorset | £35,000 - £45,000 DOE | Permanent

A well-established fire & security business is looking to add an experienced Small Works Engineer to its team, covering customer sites across Dorset.

This is a field-based role working on small works, remedial projects, upgrades and panel replacements, with a strong focus on fire alarm systems.

You'll be working across a range of sites including local authority properties, HMOs, flats and residential homes, carrying out works to existing systems and ensuring everything is completed to a high standard.

• Small works and remedial fire alarm projects
• Fire alarm servicing and maintenance
• Panel swaps and system upgrades
• Fault finding and repairs
• Working on Advanced, C-Tec and Gent systems
• Completing works across Hampshire and Dorset
• Liaising with customers and providing a professional service
• Completing relevant job sheets and documentation

We're looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer with a strong background in fire alarm servicing and small works.

You'll ideally have experience with:

• Advanced, C-Tec and/or Gent fire alarm systems
• Fire alarm servicing and fault finding
• Panel replacements and remedial works
• Working independently on customer sites
• Residential, HMO, flats or local authority environments

Commissioning experience is not required for this position.

A full UK driving licence is required.

• £35,000-£45,000, depending on experience
