Job Title: Fire and Security Installation Engineer

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Salary: £35,000 - £45,600 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

We are looking for a Fire and Security Installation Engineer to join a leading organisation operating within the fire and security industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire and Security Installation Engineer to join a growing engineering team, working on a wide range of installation and commissioning projects across commercial and industrial environments.

This is a field-based role with the company headquarters located in Stockton-on-Tees. Travel will be required to customer sites across the North East.

Our client is a well-established business within the Fire & Security sector, delivering high-quality fire detection, CCTV, access control, intruder alarm and associated systems solutions to a diverse customer base.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Fire and Security Installation Engineer to their projects team.

The Role

As a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing and fault finding of a variety of fire and security systems. The Fire and Security Installation Engineer will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and commissioning of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
• Testing, fault finding and remedial works as required.
• Completing project documentation and certification.
• Providing excellent customer service and technical support.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and safe working practices.

About You

• Previous experience as a Fire and Security Installation Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of fire and security systems installation and commissioning.
• Ability to diagnose faults and resolve technical issues.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
