Sora Recruitment is recruiting for an established fire, security and passive protection services company to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role: We are looking for an experienced Fire Door Operative to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for carrying out fire door installation, maintenance and remedial works, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing and replacing fire doors and frames.

• Carrying out fire door maintenance, repairs and remedial works.

• Inspecting fire doors and identifying defects.

• Ensuring work meets the required quality and compliance standards.

• Working safely and efficiently across a range of properties.

• Completing work records and reporting any issues.

• Working independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in fire door installation, maintenance or remedial works.

• Carpentry experience would be advantageous.

• Good knowledge of fire door components and installation standards.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Full UK driving licence.

• CSCS card preferred.

• Relevant fire door qualifications would be advantageous.
