Fire Extinguisher Engineer Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join an established and growing Fire & Security business.
The role will primarily cover North London, North West London and surrounding areas, with work taking place across a range of commercial and public-sector sites throughout London.

Fire Extinguisher Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
As a Fire Extinguisher Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, inspecting and maintaining portable fire extinguishers
- Carrying out installations and replacements where required
- Completing planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits
- Identifying faults and recommending appropriate remedial works
- Completing accurate service reports and compliance documentation
- Ensuring all equipment is serviced in line with relevant British Standards and industry regulations
- Liaising professionally with customers, clients and site representatives
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Supporting wider fire safety and compliance requirements where required
Fire Extinguisher Engineer Skills and Experience Required:
- BAFE-qualified Fire Extinguisher Engineer
- Valid BAFE Technical Card
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining portable fire extinguishers
- Full UK driving licence or equivalent
- Good understanding of relevant British Standards and fire safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Desirable but not essential:
Experience with additional fire protection equipment, including:
- Dry and wet risers
- Hose reels
- Fire hydrants
- Wider fire protection systems
