Help keep residents safe and shape the future of fire safety at Peabody.

We're looking for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join our Fire Safety Team. You'll carry out high-quality fire risk assessments across our residential properties, helping us identify, manage and reduce fire risks while ensuring compliance with fire safety legislation.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting fire risk assessments across Peabody's housing portfolio
  • Producing clear, accurate and practical FRA reports
  • Advising colleagues and stakeholders on fire safety risks and recommendations
  • Supporting compliance, continuous improvement and resident safety
  • Working collaboratively with operational teams to ensure actions are delivered

What you'll need

✅ Proven experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments in residential buildings

NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate (or equivalent)

✅ Operating at a minimum of Tier 2 Fire Risk Assessor level

✅ Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and risk assessment principles

✅ Excellent report writing, communication and stakeholder management skills

✅ Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines

✅ Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) or willingness to work towards this
