Fire Safety Manager

Location: Amesbury, Wiltshire
Working Pattern: Minimum 3 days per week on site
Hours: 37 hours per week
Clearance: Must be eligible for SC Clearance

Trevett Services are working with a leading UK defence, engineering and technology organisation to recruit a Fire Safety Manager based in Amesbury

You will join the UK Safety team, providing specialist fire safety advice and supporting fire prevention, protection, risk assessment and compliance across a complex and highly regulated estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and support Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs).
  • Provide expert fire safety advice and guidance across the business.
  • Develop and improve fire safety standards, policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate fire safety improvement plans and assurance activities.
  • Monitor compliance with UK fire safety legislation and best practice.
  • Deliver fire safety training and promote awareness across the estate.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, regulators and enforcement authorities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and regulations.
  • Experience conducting FRAs within complex, industrial or sensitive environments.
  • Previous experience as a Fire Safety Advisor/Manager.
  • Professional Fire Safety qualification, ideally Level 4 Diploma or equivalent.
  • Competent Fire Risk Assessor with recognised accreditation such as IFE, IFSM or NFRAR.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Must be eligible for SC Security Clearance.

The Opportunity

You’ll be working within a unique defence and aviation environment supporting highly specialised facilities used for the testing, evaluation and development of military aviation and aerospace systems.

The role is based at Amesbury for a minimum of three days per week, with occasional travel to other UK sites.
