Are you an experienced building safety or fire safety professional looking to play a pivotal role in protecting residents and shaping the future of building safety compliance?
We are seeking a Fire Safety (Regulation) Manager to lead the safe management of a portfolio of high-risk residential buildings. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking housing service and drive compliance with the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act and associated regulatory requirements.
The Role
As Fire Safety (Regulation) Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing fire and building safety compliance across high-risk residential buildings.
- Developing and maintaining Building Safety Cases and the Golden Thread of information.
- Leading resident engagement programmes and ensuring two-way communication on safety matters.
- Managing fire safety strategies, compliance programmes and remediation activity.
- Working closely with regulators, emergency services and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting investment programmes to ensure buildings remain compliant and safe to occupy.
- Leading and developing teams responsible for delivering high-quality compliance services.1.py
About You
We're keen to hear from professionals with experience in:
- Building Safety Management
- Fire Safety Compliance
- Social Housing Compliance
- Asset Compliance
- Building Surveying
- Fire Risk Management
You will ideally possess:
- Significant experience managing fire and building safety within residential property portfolios.
- Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Order and associated legislation.
- Experience producing or managing Safety Case Reports.
- Experience managing contractors, consultants and compliance programmes.
- A relevant qualification in Fire Safety, Building Safety, Construction, Surveying or Compliance.
- IOSH, NEBOSH Fire or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and resident engagement skills.1.py
