What will you be doing?
As a Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a range of fire and security systems across commercial and customer sites.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Diagnosing and repairing system faults
- Servicing fire alarm systems
- Working on intruder alarm systems
- Servicing and maintaining CCTV systems
- Working with access control systems
- Completing service reports and relevant documentation
- Liaising professionally with customers and site contacts
- Managing your own workload and appointments
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What are we looking for?
We're interested in speaking with experienced engineers from a Fire & Security, Electronic Security or Building Services background.
You may currently be working as a:
Fire & Security Engineer | Security Systems Engineer | Fire Alarm Engineer | Service Engineer | Security Engineer | Fire Alarm Service Engineer | CCTV Engineer | Intruder Alarm Engineer | Access Control Engineer
Experience across multiple systems would be highly advantageous, particularly:
- Fire alarms
- Intruder alarms
- CCTV
- Access control
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Service and maintenance
- PPM and reactive callouts
Relevant industry qualifications and manufacturer training are desirable, but strong practical experience is what matters most.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
