We're now looking for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join their growing team. Candidates with expertise in either fire or security systems are encouraged to apply — experience across both disciplines is a bonus but not essential, as our client offers a first-class training programme to help engineers cross-skill into the second discipline.

The Role
- Service, maintain, and fault-find on fire alarm systems and/or security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarm) across a range of client sites
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits and reactive callouts
- Complete system commissioning, testing, and handovers in line with British Standards (BS 5839, BS EN 50131, etc.)
- Liaise directly with clients to ensure a high standard of service and communication
- Complete accurate job reports, certification, and documentation
- Take part in a structured training programme to build cross-discipline skills in fire and/or security systems
- Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team, with support from [design/project management] where required
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer within either fire or security systems, ideally within [commercial/residential] environments
- Experience across both fire and security disciplines is a bonus, but not essential — full training will be provided to develop the second discipline
- Recognised industry qualifications (e.g. FIA, BAFE, ECS/CSCS card, or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
