FIRE STOPPER

Location:Southend-on-Sea
Rate:£24-£25
⏰ Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30 / 8 hours paid
Duration:6 weeks
CSCS: Required

Start date : 28.09.2026

We are currently looking for experienced Fire Stoppers to work on a construction project.

Duties include:

• Installing fire stopping systems
• Installing fire-rated materials around service penetrations
• Sealing gaps and penetrations
• Installing fire barriers and cavity barriers
• Working around cables, pipes and ductwork
• Following manufacturers' specifications and project requirements
• Completing fire stopping works to the required standard
• Recording completed works where required
• Working safely around other trades

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card
• Previous fire stopping experience
• Relevant fire stopping qualifications where required
• Good understanding of fire stopping systems
• 2 checkable references
• Good understanding of site health & safety
