Fire Stopper

A regional leader of compliance services is looking for experienced fire stoppers to join their team on a temporary long term basis. You will be working on sxites across Winchester, Basingstoke and Salisbury direction for the main part of the project. Where the works are to take place on MoD sites the first month work will be in Aylesbury or Milton Keyens (whilst client apply for a security clearance) Once this comes back you will then begin the long term works in and around Winchester, Basingstoke and ASalisbury direction. Long term ongoing work available working with batt and mastic. 

The successful candidate will have:

• At least three years’ fire stopping experience (required)
• NVQ level 2 passive fire protection (required)
• Valid CSCS card (required)
• Experience with batt and mastic, fire barrier and compound
• Fire curtain experience preferred (beneficial)
• Asbestos Awareness certificate (beneficial)

Roles and responsibilities

• Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification
• Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
• Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
• Liaise with customers and members of the public

What’s on offer?

• Fire stopping installations on MoD sites
• £200.00 - 210 per day CIS (based on 8hrs working)
• Weekly payments
• Starting early April
