SLR Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced Fire Stopping Installation Manager to join our client on a permanent basis.

The Role
You'll be responsible for leading fire stopping installation teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with clients, site teams and contractors, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of installations while maintaining compliance with industry standards and certification requirements.
The current project is based in Norwich; however, the role will involve travel to projects across the UK, with accommodation and subsistence provided when working away.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support fire stopping supervisors and installation teams.
- Plan and coordinate labour, materials and site activities.
- Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Carry out quality inspections and oversee project documentation.
- Attend client and site coordination meetings.
- Promote excellent health and safety standards across all projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams.
- Resolve on-site issues and maintain project programmes.
- Mentor and develop team members to deliver a high-quality service.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience within passive fire protection/fire stopping.
- Previous experience managing installation teams.
- Excellent knowledge of fire stopping systems and industry standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to quality and safety.
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fire Stopping.
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- CSCS Supervisor or Manager Card.
- Experience working on major infrastructure or energy projects.
- Knowledge of IFC, Kiwa or similar certification schemes.
- Experience using digital QA systems such as OneTrace.
