Location: Huntingdon (Eastern HQ) - with occassional UK wide travel
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE)

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire Systems Engineer to join a highly skilled team, carrying out installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding on a variety of fire alarm systems across customer sites throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will work on a range of industry-leading fire systems while delivering a high standard of customer service and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of fire systems.
• Commissioning where experience allows.
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional services to existing customers.
• Participating in a 1-in-6 on-call rota.
• Delivering excellent customer service while working independently and as part of a team.

Experience Required

• Minimum of four years' experience within the Fire & Security industry.
• Strong installation and service experience on fire alarm systems.
• Experience working with systems such as Notifier, Gent, Advanced, C-Tec, Kentec, Ziton or similar.
• Additional experience with CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, automatic doors, barriers or extinguishers would be advantageous.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.
• Ability to manage workloads independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Package

• £45,000 - £55,000 basic salary (DOE).
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
• Company vehicle, mobile phone and uniform.
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
• 1-in-6 call-out rota with £150 weekly standby payment plus overtime.
